first solid food is... chocolate?

Julian got a hold of six chocolate chips while I was dealing with the cat. Her face, hands, clothes and drool were brown and she had a HUGE smile on her face. Be careful though, introducing solids too young can lead to food allergies. That being said..we had to introduce semi-solids, baby rice and such, smooooshed banana's, yogurt, pudding and such early because we had monster baby and formula wouldn't fill him up. Keith has both lactose and gluten allergies, so take that as you will. Your instincts are your best bet on this one, as you and John know Julian the best. She is absolutely adorable, though. Hoping I can have a cuddle at Birka if you'll be there.

At dinner she stole lamb rogan josh with rice off my fork last night. The entire indian restaurant was amused when I was trying to fish it out of her mouth. The piece of lamb was much smaller when it came out and she spent the evening sucking her sleeves where the sauce dripped. She was quite content and pleased with herself.

She is beginning to have no interest in nursing if someone has food nearby. It will make meals at home interesting...
