My Mom is going in for surgery on December 6th at Darthmouth Hitchcock Medical Center in Hanover, NH. She has skin cancer over one eye and is having Moh's surgery which means they will be removing the surgery and then taking very thin slices of skin and putting it under the microscope to check for cancer until they find none. Yesterday (June 3rd) while having a quick snack in the hospital cafeteria after getting my mother's not unsurprising diagnosis of basel cell carcinoma my sister, my sister collapsed. I'm working on persian garb for birka...it may or may not get done. I need color suggestions to line my coat...it's this lovely bronzy red color that I picked up a few years ago for $1.00 a yard. Marden's in Sanford, ME rocks for fabric.

It seems that taking the bus into South Station and taking a taxi/walking/T will be a lot less expensive than driving down and having to pay for parking. Plus I can sleep on the way down and back...it's hard to sleep while you're driving; not to mention dangerous.

This time last year my Mom was in the hospital and we were wondering if she was going to pull through. A year later and she's doing fine, as a matter of fact we can't shut her up. We bought a 1996 Subaru Outback Legacy 'cause we really need a second car after being 5 years with only one car. Yesterday I got out of work and we raced to the DMV to pick up the plates before the DMV closed at 5. Got up early this morning and drove over to Bow NH to pick up the car. Hey y'all. I just got hired for a seasonal job during the christmas season by Lego's to go to different stores and stock shelves and such. I start the 25th of October and it goes through the 23rd of December. The job is as needed when shipments come in to different stores. It's Monday thru Friday but may not be a full week.
