I'm not sure why but this morning I woke up thinking about the shit pseudo-uniform of frat fucks from the mid-nineties. When I was in university the standard wear for those people included two main things, a Big Johnson t-shirt and a Cocks baseball cap. If you don't know what I'm talking about consider yourself lucky. omg in Texas this was beach wear. We didn't see it much in colleges, but if you went down to the coast these were sold in every single beach wear shop. It seemed kind of like going to the beach was your big chance to be that asshole you couldn't be back home... ?

this may be completely unfair but i picture texas beaches like north florida, filled with awful people that drove from their down-home residence to the beach to have a hootenanny.

Port Aransas and Corpus Christi are like that (or were when I was a kid)... S. Padre not so much, it was more for the yuppie crowd. We often went there, because my dad liked to pretend we were rich. I understand that now, S. Padre has become the Lauderdale of Texas, huge spring break spot. Shame.
