I'm wishing I'd made myself go out with you earlier today. Things probably would've happened differently, and at least my piercing cash would've already been spent.

I'm sorry. If you have time you might try walking your neighborhood a bit tomorrow. Thieves often throw away a lot of the contents of the bags they steal and even the bags themselves after they get out of sight of the people they stole from. It happened when I was mugged and I've heard of it happening to others too.

Yeah, this morning I actually recovered the purse (with my checkbook still inside) and my wallet (empty except for my insurance cards). I guess it's better than nothing.
