I find it difficult to write a thank-you note that sounds sincere. Not complaining, just sayin. It's not easy for someone who works mostly with numbers and science all day. yeah yeah, poor me.

thank you notes are hard for everyone. for the record, i loved the thank you note you wrote me after the bacholorette party and it didn't sound fake at all.

can you send me the link to your registry again? i've had to wait to purchase a gift, but the wedding etiquette books say that's okay....(hope it is).

thanks for including me in your momentous day!

yeah, when i write the notes, i rely on my style of writing that sounds like the way I talk (at least that's what many ppl have told me in the past) and then hope that the recipient can tell that I mean what I say.

will email you the registry but don't worry about it (and yes you have a year).

Well, if it makes you feel any better, you definitely don't have to send Harry or I a thank-you note. He won't care and I am all for minimizing these types of activities.

How are you recovered from wedding craziness? I had such an awesome time at your wedding! Definitely the funnest, by far, of the three we had this month.

I have to say that I am so glad to be able to think about life after 6/14/2008 now. Life's good and summer's fun. And now I can work on getting pregnant.

KIDDING.

whether he wants one or not, he's getting a note!

It took me a year to write all of mine! I carried cards and envelopes with me everywhere so if the mood struck I could execute without fail. I even wrote some from our honeymoon which added interest - we got to talk about the stamps later. I also set a goal of 2-3 per day -this way you don't feel like you're saying the same thing over again, you can think about them, and try to really sound sincere. Once you get going, you'll find yourself just getting it done and before you know it, you'll be finished and then you can reward yourself with a present.

yeah I'm sort of looking forward to doing them but it's just not easy to try to convey gratefulness in a sincere way.
