Why did proposal 2 pass? Are people that damn stupid? It wasn't just about affirmative action, it is also about banning things such as cervicle cancer vaccines for women just because they're for women only (but I'm sure if it were for prostate cancer it would be ok because MEN RULLE THE FUCKING WORLD!!!!) I hate America.

Um where are you getting your information from?
I went to like a debate and stuff about prop 2 and that isn't part of it at all. It solely has to do with programs that help women and minorities get into higher education and jobs. It doesn't have anything to do with vaccinations. And it doesn't eliminate all programs, there are still socio-economic ones and they can still have conferences and stuff and recruit minorities, they just cannot give them preferential treatment. Prop 2 is definitely a good thing.

Interesting. I don't know what her source is, but my mom said she heard that michigan courts are fighting this proposal because it was worded in a shady way and it might get repealed. But who knows.

The University of Michigan has an entire staff of lawyers, graduate student lawyers, and law professors working on finding loopholes to get around the MCRI and to rule it unconstitutional completely. They are planning to file suit against it very soon.

Haha, the state of Michigan should know better than to fuck with U of M, the MCRI won't last very long.
