Can someone give ma good reason why I shouldn't strap large ammounts of explosives to myself before taking a little trip to the nearest Scottish Gas offices and pushing the button? Please!

explosions are messy, and limbs/torsos/heads tend not to grow back.

Because the only kind of explosives you can afford will be somewhat...unstable and may detonate prematurely, thus ruining your plan.
