I wonder y he hates it so much...does he ahte anything else vanilla related?

No... he usually likes vanilla. It might be the other scents in it, maybe they triggered a bad subconscious reaction or something.

with all due respect, I realize I'm only hearing your side, but it sounds as if David really needs to grow up a little bit. Maybe I'm being too harsh, but really, is your perfume that big a deal? Just suck it up.

That being said, maybe you put too much on that day?

Yeah, maybe I did, but some scents are just overwhelmingly sickening. And weeding those out from the good ones is a matter of preference soo it's all good. He calls it the "David Repellent" now. LOL.

And I wasn't bitching so much here as I was recounting the story so people could be entertained.
