This past weekend was my first time in Indiana. vergence invited me to go with him to visit his family in Fort Wayne, and we had a great time. Did you know all those historical facts before visiting the sites? Or did you learn them during your visit? If the former, I'm very impressed!

I learned a good bit during the visit. I always thought the battle was against Tecumseh, but he was not there. I was also fuzzy on the details of the battle, just that it was significant. I also learned that it was a contributing factor to the War of 1812 a year later, in that the British, from Canada, were arming and inciting the Native Americans to attack the American settlers. I knew the rest about Harrison and Tyler though.
