I don't know how I can reply to this; aleph_0 already said everything I could say but much more nicely. If you can find some excuse (I don't care how lame) to consider this fanfiction on something or other by Chuck Palahniuk, I'll give this a special spot in my next WiF post. I didn't even notice how heavily present-tense this was until halfway through. I love seeing your hero get all swooney over frozen food, and the way everyone is so dead, and all of your little aside jokes. And despite that, I feel that you are not messing with us; you're telling the story just the way it needs to be told, as plainly and as straightforward as you can. Finally, you've ended it on quite a cliffhanger! Post the next 4,000 words soon.

Thanks! :D It's really highly derivative of Fight Club so you can label it a sort of ode to that, I suppose. You know, angry young men (though the "angry" part is coming later), and Antoine is a sort of spinoff off Tyler Durden's character in the book. I'm really, really flattered that people actually seem to be liking it. :)
