I got up at 5:30, yes, IN THE MORNING, today and yesterday. Wasn't too hard to get up because crazy anxiety/nightmarey dreams started waking me up around 4:30 both days.

It's nice to be out on the streets in LA at 6:30am, it's so empty.

This weekend I'm going to a baseball game (what?). In the OC (what, what?). Yeah.

I used to LOVE leaving shows in Chicago at like 2 AM, SO empty and quiet.

For some reaosn it's depressing in L.A. (coming from the night end, waking up early it's not depressing) maybe because I live here whereas in Chicago I had to drive 90 miles to get home still.

I used to love driving from Santa Cruz to Carmel at 4 in the morning smoking ciggies with the music blasting. So empty and open, and there's actually a lot of nature and trees and stuff around you.

Driving in LA is pretty much awful 9 times out of 10.
