The Federal government in a nutshell

So apparently, the feds decided it was worth their time and effort to send an actual agent to my apartment,* but not to return either of the calls I made requesting they tell me what the hell is going on.

I feel this is typical.

Oh, well. If it was important, I would know by now. I just hope my neighbor isn’t a spy.

I hope you are all picturing a be-suited, be-sunglasses-ed dude traveling across the Canadian wilderness accompanied by a Labrador, a bull terrier and a Siamese cat now, because I totally am.

Well, I am NOW.

Though, really, that description makes me think of Homeward Bound, since I never saw the original Incredible Journey.

Also, this icon is relevant, because in Homeward Bound, there's a scene where the kids are playing the game this icon is from. :D

See, my problem is that I read the book before I saw the movie, so I always think of it as "Incredible Journey", but I picture the animals from "Homeward Bound." Celebrity voices and all.

Oh, I've never been to the AFI in my life and I've been living 20 minutes away from that part of town for about 12 years. It's cool finding someone so close by.
