It seems that the issue of these chips will soon be a thing of the past.  Perhaps those called "scientists" were not truly interested in keeping their subjects so powerless.  No, it seems to be that they are much more interested in their worth, more than any sort of forced cooperation ( Read more... )

'Thing of the past...' Don't count on it.

For some, then.

[ had mostly been referring to himself in the post because he's a nice and caring guy like that. ]

Yeah, I guess... give it a couple weeks, they'll start putting that chip somewhere else instead.

It seems that they would consider all of this a game, in that aspect.

However, that is of no concern to me.

Wuddya mean the worth of a person?

There are many things that may determine that. Perhaps the easiest way to tell is how much more useful they can be than the average human trash.

That ain't right! Ya can't just judge people like that!

And why not?

cannot be determined completely. Unforseen changes are always possible.

It is rare that these raw materials manage to surprise me, but such changes can easily be factored into my plans.

Ah? My mistake-- though their unpredictability is to be expected, with how secretive they seem to be.

However, their goals seem nearly impossible to figure out, which is quite a rare occurrence.

Isn't someone's worth best determined by the situation at hand?

Perhaps; however, I was referring more to their general worth. Though it does seem that most of these raw materials would prefer not to think about it.

I doubt that you can blame them for that. Who would want to mull over such ideals?

I was simply curious-- if raw materials are able to assess others like them.

What do you mean by "raw materials"?

Reply

evaluative June 10 2010, 19:06:48 UTC
Humans.

Reply

artofautomail June 10 2010, 20:21:42 UTC
And why would you call humans that?

Reply

evaluative June 10 2010, 20:35:51 UTC
Because that is the truth. They are little more than tools, or experimental guinea pigs.
