I watch too much Aqua Teen Hunger Force. I've started dropping quotes from the show in everyday situations. For instance, my mother asked why I didn't do the laundry today, and I told her that I instead opted to take a nap. She then jokingly called me lazy, and I retorted with "I have a disease, and you should respect that. I need help...just ( Read more... )

1) I think I am gonna have to download or buy some auqua teen soon. I think the last new one I saw might have been the one with Danzig and that was long ass ago.
2) When I want to remember something for my LJ I use my voice recorder on my phone to make quick notes.
3) You know im not a fan of all the DDR stuff, but as much as I might suck I do like me some Guitar Hero. I like it more than I liked Donkey Konga cause my hands dont get sore playing Guitar Hero.

Donkey Konga is damn fun dude, but you do get sore after a short while. I have a friend that has bought 4 sets of drums, and we like to play from time to time. Guitar Hero is great. I like to think I'm looking on at myself as I play. I think that I always look like the one dude in the band who looks like he is too good for the rest of the band and doesn't give a shit as to why he's there. There's always a guy in every band who looks like that.

Woo hoo for Guitar Hero! Last week I played for so many hours that my fingers cramped up for two days!

Dear God, the only date I remember is my DDRversary (second weekend in March, moved from its original first weekend so as not to interfere with Wesley's birthday.)

6 months since Advance...that means its just as close as it is far away.

yay

I think you can get the application online.

I wish I could come back this summer. But I'm graduating and I'm probably going to have to get one of those real job things.

At least you'll be there to keep the kids DDRing.

wow, you and your dates. i know one other person who is like you. good gosh, that's a good thing though. the only problem is that if it's etched into your memory and if the past is hurting you, that's bad. i hope you only hold onto the memories that will help you in the present.

merry christmas =)

It's not always bad to remember the not-so-good stuff. Sure, it can be a bummer from time to time, but I'm trying my best to learn from it and to use that knowledge to strive for a better tomorrow (that sentence makes me sound like a writer for any Square-released game ever =P). I need to chat on aim with you some time again. Hope you had a great Xmas!

Yup...it came out in Fall of '94. Creepy, huh?

I remember the first time I played through. I thought I was surely near the end of the game when I first arrived in Zozo on the hunt for Terra. I bought the strategy guide at that point and nearly shat myself out of disbelief at how much more gaming there was to be done.

Also, I used to not know that you could save in the field. I thought that you could only save at those flashy save points. I left my SNES on one time for hours right after I finished the Opera House scene because I had to go to a soccer game. I had no clue that I could save on the field right outside of Albrook. =P

For me, the Opera House scene was the most memorable moment of any game for me...mostly because I spent all that time writing down the lyrics...
