My poor Siamese cat really has been in the wars. She hasn't quite been the same since drinking from a puddle of anti-freeze (apparently cats love it's sweet taste) out of my parents' neighbour's garage nearly a year ago. Well made stories, however real, will always make for good television. It's in part a fulfillment of the medium; that tv can and should be a vehicle for storytelling, amongst the myriad of it's other potential uses: news broadcasting, natural documentary, sports and events coverage etc.
