Volunteer appreciation
On the bus from work now at 7 pm, slightly buzzed from work drinks in honour of volunteers - an event which only 3 of our 22 volunteers attended! Sigh. I think there were 7 drop outs for the went today.
Home tonight - nothing very exciting. What to do now that we've finished the Black List. Tough life. :)

A new decade!
Someone on Facebook today had one of those random little quotes on their status that said: "Life isn't about finding yourself, it's about creating yourself." I had a little, Huh., moments over it. Summer breezes
Summer is in full-blown glory here, at the moment. It's pleasant for most of the time, but every now and then there's a scorcher of a day that makes you rue the day anyone decided to land on this arid continent. Well, here I am sitting in the Vancouver airport, jealously guarding one of the very few plug ins for my laptop. My uncle mentioned that power plugs may not be available on this flight, so I'm taking the chance and charging my laptop while I can. Here's hoping he just doesn't know anything about economy, though!

Hey peeps. I'm currently-yet-again in townhouses at SFU, chilled on James' couch, having some me time while the boys are off at hot yoga at Metrotown. While there's lots to do today, I'm pretty content kicking my heels up for an hour or so and taking advantage of their speedy wireless. :)
