Well, the teacher for organic chemistry during the regular school year is a douche. I was acing his class without learning a thing. I heard that the summer teacher is much better and actually expects you to know the material rather than being like "this is way too hard for any of you to understand, so I'm going to review basic chemistry and hope that none of you notice that we're half way through the course and still on chapter 3." So I'm re-taking organic chemistry with the goal of actually learning something.

HEY EVE!!! Yeah for doing research this summer!!! w00t!!! It sounds like you're doing some amazing stuff!! You'll have to keep me updated!!!!! :)

I am actually thinking about applying to U of R - it seems like a great place :). I'm also looking at NYU, Cornell, University of Michigan, U of Vermont, U of Florida (safety - REALLY DON'T WANT TO GO THERE), and Purdue. Any other suggestions?

I hope everything is absolutely fantastic!!!! :) Hope to get a chance to sit down and chat with you one of these days :).

Why U Vermont? It's kind of... in the middle of nowhere... not much to do really. I love Vermont, but it's charm is best for short trips. Like Potsdam. U of R is great if you want to do research. :-)
