it can be, when it's covered in whiteness like that :) of course there are other times when it looks abysmally miserable to me and all i want to do is get off it (but those aren't too frequent, thankfully)...
beautiful. it never snows in sydney and so i dream of it so often. winter's are grey, chilly and still here instead of your lush lush whiteness and those graceful tree limbs touched by the frost of a wicked Whoite Witch. ♥
when i was very little, before my family moved here, i used to live in a place where we didn't get snow either--and i remember hearing of it in stories & fairytales, and wondering how the world would look all covered in something like white powder sugar. well, i was four then :p
the world looks pretty, but cold & treacherous to walk in.
are you enjoying summer in australia right now? my mind is always boggled by the change of seasons around the globe. i've never had a hot & sunny christmas (with the exception of one spent in L.A. where it always feels like summer due to the palm trees and warm temperatures)...
isn't it? we don't get snow like that very often either (perhaps once or twice a year), but it's beautiful--especially when it's such pure untainted whiteness that seems to transform the world.
♥ thank you for adding me back. again, i must say that your journal is the thing that is truly gorgeous.
I rarely trek around when it's below fifty, much less after it has snowed but there are a couple of places in this city that transform into something beautiful (there aren't that many pretty places here, in my opinion) but nothing like what you've showed me in your pictures.
And I'm very glad you found me and that you now grace my list of friends. <3

I took a couple of snowy photos, but they weren't that good. I didn't go outside to do it. :)
