Sharpe enters cautiously, stopping briefly to assess who's in the room and how many windows and doors are there. One door, a handful of windows. He has his sword with him, he came prepared, although at seeing Arwen part of his determination hesitates.

He believes Aragorn truly, totally. And yet, such a beautiful woman hardly seems evil. her pain seemed true enough. Then his own wife comes to mind, and hsi resolve strenghten once again.

"My lady Arwen," he calls, without stepping further.

Arwen turns towards you, gentle smile on her lips.

"Richard."

The smile dies as she sees the guarded expression on you face, and she looks at you sadly.

"I see you have spoken to Estel?"

"I have, milady," Sharpe advances into the room. Aragorn's words of warning echo in his mind, but still he finds it hard to believe not that she may be evil, although not exactly by her doing, but that she could be dangerous or harmful to him.

Such a beautiful creature..so sad.

"What ails you so? If you have been wronged, I'm sure there must a be a way to make it right. And if a man's heart changes, there's very little that can be done with hatred to conquer it again."

He steps closer to Arwen, one hand still on the hilt of his sword, the other taking Arwen's hand in his. "Wouldn't you rather come and talk to him again, with me? No harm will come to you, I swear."

She smiles sadly, squeezing your hand as if reassured by the comfort it offers.

"It is not only for myself that I come here, try again to get him to listen to reason. His people need him, and it gets harder with each passing day to reassure them he has not deserted us ... when in my heart, I begin to know that is exactly what he has done!"

She tears her hand from yours and turns away from you, choking back tears.

"I swore I would not spill another tear over him! If he cannot be there for our people, then I must be! But it is so hard to bear this burden alone ..."
