This past week I went on vacation.

New York, NY - Aug. 12 and 13

1. Stayed at the W on Lexington - tiny room, cozy bed.

2. Went to the Central Park Zoo (thanks, Viv, for the inspiration).

3. Ate lunch at the Caliente Cab in Greenwich Village - $25 for two lunches and 4 margaritas.  NY has some sort of crazy brunch war going on in which the food is ( Read more... )

As you may know, Mac's now come with Intel processors. This means they can run Windows XP - natively. In the next release of OSX (Leopard) you will be able to install Win XP alongside Leopard and choose which to boot at startup. This should prove to be a boon for those of you with software for one but not the other.

So, I got yet ANOTHER call for an interview this morning. I was out buying a T-Square when the call came in. I got to do something that I haven't done in a looooong time - I called the guy back, thanked him for his interest in me, and told him that I had already received an offer from another company. Yes, another interview. On Friday, I applied to a posting from Thursday and today they called to have me come in for an interview. Interview number 3 is on Tuesday at 2:00.

I'm bound to do incredibly well in at least one of them.

Well, two weeks ago a woman from a recruiting agency in Rhode Island called me (for those of you South - or near - the Mason-Dixon line, Rhode Island is a suburb of Boston, so it's not that crazy).
