Had a great time in New York this week when my friends A & J came out to Boston to visit.  We learned several new things.  For example: hookers are plentiful at or around 39th Street and 4th Ave in Brooklyn.  The Hotel there also rents rooms by the hour.  We wanted to know neither of these things, but now that we do, we won't be going back to ( Read more... )

A: Applying for unemployment is a pain in the ass.  It is done, and I have reported for week 1.  In another 3 weeks or so I get my first check.  The system is odd and requires only 3 attempts/week at getting a job.  An attempt can include applying for a job, attending a resume workshop, sending letters of inquiry and hundreds of other things that ( Read more... )

Too much work.

I've spent about 12 hours working this weekend so far, and I'm still here, and I still have about 18 hours of homework to do.  I'm quite possibly fucked.  However, I've decided I'm leaving early from work tomorrow... say around 11:00am, and I'm not coming in on Tuesday.
