Also, it was very pleasant to wake up to the sight of first snow. 'twas about time :)

Thats not a bad first snow, about 3 inches, I hope that drivers put winter tires on and if the didn't decide to stay off the road.

As to Sword in the Stone, heh I see your point about wondering what its all about. The story seems two fold, You have the mainline story about the Runt eventually becoming King Arthur and then you have the secondary story all about Merlin and after spending the bulk of the movie dealing with Merlin and his issues the movie ties both story lines together sorta.

The problem with the movie to me is the reason as to why the sword was put into the stone in the first place. Its such a weak storyline when you consider that real Kings and Lords were like Mafia bosses of today. They had to protect their territory and the surfs did all the work. Everyone wanted to be king but you had to be born of a noble bloodline unless you could overthrow the king. Dragonheart more accurately depicted the concept of lordship than this movie ever could, but its Disney so people look past the historical potholes.

That makes sense, I guess. The whole plot did seem a bit ramshackle to me.

Either that, or then I'm just too stupid to understand the whole movie.

Gorgeous pictures! We've had a slight dusting of snow the past few days, but nothing too permanent since we're still hovering around 0°. Sorry to hear about your knee though, I hope it gets back to normal soon!

It has melt a bit since that, but this morning the quicksilver sank to -10 degrees, so like you, we're just waiting for it to snow again.

And thanks hon. It really sucks to miss valuable training days :(
