Yay! I was worried I had upset you previously by being too nosy.
I had kind of asked you about income awhile back and I didn't want to be prying but I am so nervous because I am basically changing careers at the age of 35 and I am afraid starting fresh in the funeral business I won't be able to pay my mortgage. Hehe, that is my biggest freak out right now I think. I just wanted to know if everyone starts at entry level and the income range is low or where I could find any information I suppose.
I hope I can do this, I am excited and nervous about starting classes Monday!

I'm going to be straight and honest with you. I don't know where you live, but where I am from (Illinois) there are no jobs. More than half of my class cannot find work in the business. I finished my internship in March and have been unable to find a job since. I moved to KS two months and have found nothing here either. You HAVE to be willing to relocate for a job, or be very prepared to not find a job for a loooong time. Please , please, please do not for a second think you will easily find a job. If you do, that's GREAT, but you need to be prepared for the possibility that you won't. I love the business, but wish someone would have told me how hard it would be to find a job. I thought that I could SURELY find something in a big city like Chicago...but no. Like I say, it's not just me, it's pretty much everyone in my class (and the classes before and after mine) that doesn't come from a family that owns funeral homes. So, maybe just be sure you have a safety net or a backup plan if it happens to you too!
