Aw, great! I love it! Rose's ceremony in the lake, the Doctor dive-rolling out of the sweat lodge and getting trampled by screaming naked women, his flip through the sky while the stars flew past until he thudded against her huge tongue, the singing of his people, "...if I believe in just one thing...", Donna in his head, the Doctor looking down that long Time Lord nose, the bow to the 9ish part of 10, the girl with the colorful shawl dancing with the firefly, and, of course, Cathy's "Told ya that size didn't matter!" This was a fun, funny, thoughtful, rich adventure. Thank you so much for the update. I knew one was coming and looked forward to getting home all day - and I'm not disappointed. Hurray!
Oh, I'm glad that you loved it! I think my favorite visual is the Doctor pounding the back of his head in the sand after he zapped himself and Rose. I could just see it! But really, I could see all of it. It was fun!
no, seriously. :) i especially adore the scene in the 'TARDIS' wherein the Doctor figures (most of) it out. And where he makes the right choice, giving up the temptation of things he really, really wants, because reality is okay, really, and with Rose, it's much better.
Thanks! I'm really glad that you're liking it. I don't think I have many readers. Maybe not enough pr0n! But I love writing it and I really love that folks are enjoying it. -- LJG
Ahh, forget the pr0n. (Welllll, okay, pr0n is fun, too.) But, no - I love your characterization of Rose and the Doctor and OCs like Charlie. And the plot is, as you've structured it, episodic...but it really works. I love it!
Wow, thanks. I guess I figured most people had forgotten about this. I'm in the midst of writing something else, but your comment makes me think that I should come back here. Thank you.
