Thus far, I am committed in the morning, but I could meet you someplace in the afternoon. How far are you from Danbury? Or...are you in CT? ::laughs:: I don't even know.

what happened to your plan for the new school (if you don't mind my asking)

p.s. CUNY...is actually not a bad system. A lot of our teachers also teach at places like NYU and SVA, so in terms of faculty it's a good education. The name is no NYU, of course (though, part of NYU's name is its real estate value, I believe)

few things are worth the crazy stress and financial hardship that college can be. College is def worth it, but not all schools are.

are you at NYU because you want to be? Is there something specific about the school keeping you there? it's not a failure to transfer.

College is very important, which you already know, but YOU are the one that has to live with yourself, and NOTHING is worth stickin with if it makes you dislike who you are.
You are a good person, you are a kind person, and you are a strong person. NYU doesn't deserve you.
I know how important education is, Ky, but the fact of the matter is that you can get an equivalent education and get out of it in one piece. I think you should find the institution that will allow your graduation with your sense of self worth intact, and give THEM your money and trust.
