I learned a long time ago that one's relationships with people are not reciprocal. I decided back then that I would make the choice to keep giving everything I had into all my relationships with people--not caring what I got back ( Read more... )

But there are. And some part of you has got to know that, or you'd have written in a paper journal. I can promise you that you have a mess people out there who think you're awesome, and you're dating one of the most important ones. Don't ever forget that.

I'd like to see you when I come home this summer, if that's possible. And get your take on the Wolverine movie.

Well, all I can say is don't give it your all. It *is* true that relationships are not conditional transactions, but that doesn't mean that you're obligated to be a martyr.

I keep my rules simple. I trust a select handful of people, take many more with a grain of salt and act civil (or at least try to) towards everyone else.
