Just caught up on some older entries and decided to dust off the old LJ. The nice apartment I was supposed to get was well...unattainable. You know what they say, "if it's too good to be true...". Boys. So much stuff involving men in my life. And you know what? For all the drama, and for all the ups and downs...

I couldn't be happier or more confident about who I am now. I know I'll make the right decisions.

I vow to be someone with clout.

I want to be everything - sensitive, feminine, tough and masculine. Pearls and leather, jewels and camo. Being a bottom but still coming out on top. I'm in a good place now, but I see this as only a step in my life.

A bunch of my friends are coming to NYC for this spring break and asked me to recommend them some places. I wrote a long email to them with bars and restaurants, etc. Now I just feel really really really homesick. New York sounds so glamorous on paper, and you know sometimes she actually is even better - though sometimes she fails miserably.

Listening to Spem in Alium by Thomas Tallis on Youtube and had the entire ENTIRE experience ruined by reading the comments under it. A piece of profound beauty and heart was the site of a group of atheists in a circle jerk.
