River tells Mal that Serenity can save Inara. Serenity's power restarts Inara's heart. Inara wakes up and Mal looks on the verge of tears. The ship is badly hurt and gets help from friends of Mal's. River called them. But the reader has to guess whether she just used her mind to make the call or found a way to use the wave.

Awwww, you really gave Mal such an impossible choice -- but he made the right one. :) I really enjoyed the interaction between Mal and Inara when she woke up -- seemed very true to character. :D What an exciting and suspenseful story, dude -- can't wait for the next one!!! As always, keeeep writing!! :D
