I think Tübingen may be enchanted. Melissa led me to her dorm in a total sleep and food deprived dazed, and when I finally wandered outside at 9:30, i found myself in this wonderfully european residential area - there is laundry hung out to dry, and colorful apartment walls, and random little playgrounds and treehouses between the buildings. then
