In the summer of 2005 I made a goal to lose 50 pounds. Today I got on the scale and discovered that I have reached that goal.

I'm so excited! It's one of those rare moments where it's ok to be proud of yourself. ^__^

I'm walking outside

I've had the "Sanford and Son" theme song looping through my brain for two days now.....

Overheard at my gym
Woman on eliptical machine: "What we really need is for young people to stop seeing Democrats as young and cool and Republicans as old and.........greedy."

Best Discovery of the Day:
Crumble up some bacon (fake or real depending on your food preferences) and put it in your macaroni and cheese. YUM!!!!!!

One of my students began going to public school last week. Starting tomorrow I will be going with her for a couple of days to aid in the transition and help her teachers with any questions or concerns. Last night I saw an ad with the slogan "The Power of OD." I kept looking for the missing "G" believing it to be some sort of religious message, but there was none to be found.
