Build your own Nightmare Ending 1

STOP! Please make sure you have read this post first!

Robert was heating up soup and he thought that he heard something, but wasn’t sure. Then Alan’s yell was unmistakable and Robert dropped what his was doing and ran into the bedroom, finding Alan tangled in the sheets and still yelling. He sat down and tried to gather Alan in his arms, fighting the flailing limbs and brushing his hand across Alan’s head, soothing him and settling him down. He whispered calming words, “Alan, it’s okay, I’m here, it was just a dream. Wake up honey, Alan, you are ok, shhhhhh, just wake up, it’s okay.”

Alan slowly opened his eyes, and the pain in his side was the second thing he was aware of. The first was Robert’s vise-like grip on him, his gentle hands trying to calm him down. He stopped fighting and settled into the embrace.

Robert moved to sit behind Alan and gathered him into his arm. “It’s alright, it was just a bad dream, I’m here now and I’m not going anywhere.”

“Calm down my turtle dove.”

“What did you just say, Robert?”

“I’m not going anywhere, just rest, you need it.” Robert ran his hand down Alan’s arm and kissed the top of his head, threading his fingers around Alan’s clenched fist, rubbing until he felt the fingers start to relax, then slipping his fingers into Alan’s, holding on to him, protecting him, mumbling into his ear, “Not going anywhere.”

Nevermind I want to read the other ending!
