Really Really Home Sick

I'm so lonely out here. I know I have Brian and I love him and I would follow him anywhere, but its not the same. When he's gone I have no one to call to hang out with, I have no one to grab lunch with on a whim, or even scheduled. I didn't realize it would be this hard for me. Everyday Brian ask me how I'm doing, I know he's waiting for me to have ( Read more... )

Chicago has some great museums, maybe you can go on one of those tours and meet some new friends?

How did we end up talking and being friends? I think you asked me for something. You're not that shy, you are just unsure of how to approach people. I wouldn't go with my blatant sarcastic approach, it's an acquired taste.

I really, really understand what you're going through. When DJ and I moved down here, he had plans-- going to school. He immediately knew people, and had things to do. And I sat around at home, just waiting for him to come home. It's really hard until you get to know some people yourself. I'm shy too, and it was terribly hard. We've been here for over two years, and I'm still feeling the same way sometimes. Just hang in there! It does get easier. If you ever need to talk, I'm always here. You always have your long distance friends.

Heya! Long time no see. I just logged in here on a whim so don't expect any constant updates but thought I would try and cheer ya up. I know how it is to go from one place to another, learning to meet people and find new friends isn't an easy thing to do but knowing you i'm sure you'll find a place to fit in sooner than not, just keep that smile on your face and things will go well for you i'm sure! I feel for you though, and I know how tough it is (I had 4 different high schools if you remeber) it will take some time but if you just try and let your hair down and get into the swing of life out there things will be better for sure, even if the pace of things isn't the same as you've been used to for most of your life, a little change could end up being good for ya in the long run. :D Just remember you've always got your friends back home even if you are far away, and thanks to this intarweb here we can sometimes keep in touch ;) Anywho, I'm glad to hear things seem to be going well with you and Brian otherwise, tell him I said hi ( ... )
