Ugh, the fact that all these games are so close together and I have barely any time to write anything (I haven't even written the eulogies for the 3 eliminated teams...) but hey, I'll do my best in VERY quickly writing something for the conference finals.
Hey, just because I'm working 7 out of 14 days a week (and spend the rest of them recovering from those 7 days), it doesn't mean that I'm not interested in hockey. I just have less time to devote to it or write about it. Anyways, I digress. Today is important because we have our 1st conference final team, for the Western Conference.
We've just finished the playoff quarterfinals last night (in double overtime no less) and we're ALREADY going onto the 2nd round tonight, starting with the Western Conference. Let's just say that all my previous prognostications were...completely wrong and move on, shall we?
I'm writing this with a rather heavy heart as my team has been eliminated. This only leaves me with my Western Conference team of choice (which I will not reveal here). So sad, but I'm also slightly amused at the other 2 teams that have also been eliminated in the last 2 days. ( Day 11 and 12 )
Wow, I'm already writing my first eulogy of the season after 10 days of playoff hockey. So strange given how all the games have gone in this year's quarterfinals, but hey, things happen. So, without more of me rambling, ( Day 10 )
Doesn't seem like it was that long ago that I was studying for the CRNE (the last time I studied for anything until now) and wow, I feel drained. I didn't know that being out of school/class for 9 months can actually do this to you. Now I know (ie: never going back to school again) XD

I'll start with the injury front. Of course, biggest story during the All-Star weekend was that Sidney Crosby had an undiagnosed fractured cervical vertebrae (C1 & C2, the 2 at the very top)/broken neck that has fully healed. This was diagnosed by a spine specialist last week after reviewing his medical information (and probably a few X-rays). [cue
