My oven sets off my fire alarm as well! I fixed it though, in a most clever way. The battery now lives in my kitchen drawer and I feel that much safer. On an unrelated note, I started my second year last week! Nine more months and I can slap an RN on my name! And then today I watched a thoracentesis today. 1300cc out of one lung! Good times.
Heheh, I wish I could that with mine! It runs on both batteries and electricity (and beeps annyoing when the battery is low) - IT TAUNTS ME!
Awesome! I didn't get to see one while I was a student (though I did get to see a dehis'ed thoracotomy - you could see heart beats). Good luck good luck! I passed my NCLEX last week and am just waiting for the stupid state to get around to granting my license. You can survive nursing school! Any idea what field you'd like to go into yet?
