The plumbing leak has been repaired, my mom is home after a couple of days of feeling that I was starring in a well known reality tv show, I may go to Healthsouth and strangle a case manager but I don't feel that I'm alone in wanting to strangle some sort of medical staff ( Read more... )

My mother had a stroke on Tuesday. It was a surprise, as she wasn't currently being treated for anything that would have put her at risk for stroke. But she does have a couple of things in her medical history (that I remembered, but she didn't) and so it goes. It's funny how little minor stressors can add up and feel worse than one big stressor. This week has sort of been the universe pointing and laughing at me, not in a big way but in little annoying ways.
