I am so, so sorry... I know how hard it is to deal with casting woes like this... All I can say is, and it may sound cliche, trite, or useless... Keep trying. Don't let one show and one audition make you give up(for that matter, don't let TEN auditions do it).

*big huggles* That royally sucks! Batboy is the worst thing not to get cast in. I felt awful for a week after I didn't get cast in my college's production. See if you can get involved some other way. It'll make you feel better.

Eh, I actually think it would make me feel worse to be involved, just because the auditions were so unfair. I'm kind of disgusted with the whole thing.
