wow nuit blanche sort of sucked. it was few and far between. there was this awesome magician and this cute little girl who was trying to copy one of the dancers. Other than that the rest made me shake my head.

we made chewy choco chip cookies today. they turned out awesome. I think Dee will eat them all before the sun sets.

i found out yesturday that I would not in fact be paid for the now three weeks of training I have endured. After a call to the labour board foudn out it was illegal, but I can't call the boss because of COURSE he shut the clinic down next week.

Well here goes, the job search starts again, *explitive deleted*.

i hate incompetent people. sadly it seems the number is rising.

we are planning a trip to new york late summer/early fall..... probably for a few days and just wanted some ideas on places to see. for the most part we're just going to wander around and go to whatever we see that interests us but sort of wanted to check out any cool places people had recommended. any ideas? you can always email me too ( Read more... )

as of yesturday I am a chiropractic health assistant. who the hell would have thought? i am so relieved to finally have a job that's at least semi-close to home. duncan and i finally got all our stuff moved. now it's the heap of unpacking and getting settled. it's going so well i'm just wiating for it all to fall apart.

well i've decided that I do infact want to go back to school. this postpones my trip to europe at least for a little while. now I just need to find an inexpensive place to live so Duncan and I can at least semi-focus on school while we live in a non-cardboard box. anyone know of any cheap one bedrooms ( Read more... )

so i got my wisdom teeth out yesturday. i was proud that i was finally able to bring myself to make the consultation and push myself to finally get it done. after the pain at least i wont have to worry about it anymore. one more thing off the list.
