You can ban the bot that comments with pingbacks: pingback_bot. As this bot copies pieces of the post from which it is pinging back (can...that even be a verb?) without regard to whether or not the post is friendslocked, you may want to tell it to go away until that is fixed. Disabling pingbacks should be enough to prevent seeing pingbacks from this bot, but ( Read more... ) -
there's butterflies in the toolbar and you can go twice as...uh.
Here is a script to make that crosspost thing go away, since even if you disable your use of it, it decides to stick around in greyed-out form whenever you comment. I find that aesthetically annoying, and suspect I may not be alone in this. I notice now that it does not fix your posts, but I'm sure a script will come out for that too.

I don't think the idea of being done with finals has ever seemed so wonderful before. In one week, like it or not, I will be done with them. I'm just very tired right now.
