Two days ago I received word that I was not accepted into Einstein. This marks the first time I've cried in three and a half years. That was the only place where I got an interview. I'm going to be spending the next few days trying to figure out what I'm doing with the next year

I'm so sorry to hear the bad news. I'm in the same situation as you, as I didn't get into any medical schools. I can only recommend to not let it get to you and keep striving for it, because I know how badly you want it. Grab an internship, work for a company or even get a regular job and just try again. I know you can do it.

I hear you. I applied to PhD programs in clinical psych, only received one interview, and am still on the waitlist at that school. And I'm as nuts-off-my-rocker-workaholic as you are. It sucks, it really really sucks. And I hate when people try to make me feel better about it (especially the "come on, don't be stupid, of COURSE you'll get in" people), so I won't really try to make you feel better, because I can't. When lifelong dreams get shot down, nothing makes them better right away. But the one thing that consoles me is, just because I didn't get in now doesn't mean I won't get in ever, and with medical technology the way it is, I'm practically GUARANTEED another 60 years. The same goes for you. So hang in there, and you have my support.

the only thing I can think of for places ar3 there are a few pharmaceutical companies here in bloomington which are always looking for peopel with bio type experience

and if there are people who you would like to see wiped out, we can just kill em all for you.

aside from that dude, im sorry, and Im sure you will bounce back, as you are far too qualified and awesome to not get something good
