Once when I worked as a cashier at a grocery store, a youngish couple from Germany (I knew they were German from checking ID for alcohol - their English was fine) came through my line. They were very pleasant and thought it was so nice that I bagged their groceries for them. In Europe (at least the places I've been) you bag your own groceries. ( Read more... )

Cherry Coke is the best drink EVER! Soda is definitely my biggest weakness, but I've found some diet versions that are good too (i.e., Diet Wild Cherry Pepsi). My most recent favorite snack is peanut butter filled pretzels. No wonder I've gained 5 lbs since the honeymoon!

I've tried, but I just can't do the diet soda thing. Hopefully this does not doom me to diabetes!

Wow, you don't have to bag your groceries in USA? In Estonia you have to do it yourself and also buy the bag where to put your food!

OK, junk food,
1. I actually like diet Coke much better then regular one, don't know why but I do, and I drink it time to time.
2. I sneak out to McDonald's after every three months for Big Mac.
3. My weakness is whole hazelnuts in chocolate but I refuse to call it junk food:)!

Buy the bag?? Maybe if they did that over here we Americans wouldn't be so wasteful of grocery bags!
