3%

My value as an "above average" employee is only worth 3 effin percent. I might see $15 more a paycheck. I seriously need to reconsider my employment no matter how much I like my job.

I question that statement.

You may have a point. It would depend on where on the academic scale one fell. Certainly football coaches are well paid.

the worse part, your replacement will likely make more than they got away with paying you.

The man speaks the truth more than likely as no one in their right mind would take it for what they pay considering the cost of living and the ammount of time required.

Unfortunately raises are based on performance. I think those that are "meets expectations" employees get something like 1.5%.

Now that's livin' large. My review last year netted me all of 1.7%. And that's after my performance during the recovery after Katrina.

Fuck corporate America.

ahhh yes... the yearly 3% cost of living increase.

This year before reviews at a staff meeting we got a speech about how everyone will just get the 3% because if you deserved lower you should just be fired.

Sooooo, that means that my work is the same comparatively to the incompetent idiots who also work here and I will continue to practically starve to get by here. Thanks job!
