I had a long, hard week. Class, assignments, and the general sense of impending doom (the feeling that you're always behind or falling behind, or going to miss a deadline) manifested themselves into a wicked little illness. The first day of work was interesting. Much like at Lexus, I managed to break an expensive car the first day. Don't take a car through the wash with the antenna up.

The manliness is upon us in Fire Station #4. Kyle, our woodworking neighbor, comissioned himself to build us a table/bar for my turntables and fridge up on the balcony. Not only will it be spill proof and come with a beastly wooden lid for my tables, when that lid is on it makes a seemless, flush bar for many to enjoy up in the balcony area ( Read more... )

I was invited to show my motorcycle at the 2006 Wheels of Italy show back in Minneapolis. This could be a great time to find a potential buy and, at the very least, get my work critiqued. Now if I could only find a way to get the bike back to the cities ( Read more... )

I had a good discussion with some techs at Best Buy today about engine design, specifically displacement vs. supercharging. The details are so awesome you wouldn't understand, but after today I'll have enough cool points for that inflatable raft I've been ogling.

I stayed up all night to do some studying for my final on Thursday, and hit the town for some early longboarding around 5am. Madison is frightningly quiet at 5am. Starbucks plays terrible music too.
