Since I don't have a paid account, and can't do a real poll, I'm curious.

Cats or dogs?

For me, cats all the way. They don't need near as much affection, they can use a litterbox, they're cute (not pathetic) when they beg, and purring kittens are just the most soothing things ever.

Dogs. They're loyal, friendly, and can actually serve a purpose in some cases.

Cats are just plain evil. They are completely independant and don't care at all about you. They attack you for no reason. And they serve absolutely no purpose but making your house smelly.

Don't forget that cats won't drool all over you when you pet them, and they won't try to hump your leg, and if they play bite, it won't hurt.

Mainly dogs, possibly because I had the greatest dog in the world. I do enjoy cats, though, and am in the process of trying to get my parents to bring the cat down here.
