Since I don't have a paid account, and can't do a real poll, I'm curious.

Cats or dogs?

For me, cats all the way. They don't need near as much affection, they can use a litterbox, they're cute (not pathetic) when they beg, and purring kittens are just the most soothing things ever.

well, right now I have 3 dogs and 3 cats where I'm living. If I could have only one I'd choose dogs. But if you live in the city, it's just not right to have a dog...they need space.

Dogs. I'm allergic to most cats, not to mention that we, well, just don't get along very well. A dog you can interact with, as Robin Williams said, a cat just seems like a drama queen.

I like either de-clawed cats, or clean tiny non-neurotic dogs.

I don't like pets very much.. i just want something furry to come over when I want to play with them and take care of themselves when I don't want to take care of them. =/ Man, we should just train pets to use the toilet and the shower.
