I always think about what I'd grab....my pictures used to be taped up to my wall, and then I thought, how stupid....if there was ever a fire, they're stuck...there's no way I could save them....so I put them in a scrapbook and what doesn't go in there, goes in a box. I'd grab my yearbooks, and some other things and then get the hell out. That's so scary, but I'm glad everyone's alright.

Yeah, see I used to have pictures on my wall too. Like HUGE collage style, but since I was always so paranoid of my house catching on fire that I've spent somewhere between $30-$50 on making photocopies at Kinko's of just some of my pictures that I wanted to put up. So at least that way, I wouldn't have to tear them off the wall in case of an emergency. How pathetic is my paranoia?? My obsession with watching Rescue 911 growing up has definitely paid it's toll on me.

Dude, I've thought the exact same thing. I always wonder "what will I grab before I leave?"
My room is so disorganized as it is at home and it'd be such a pain to grab everything that I wanted like pictgures and stuff...
Then I think "nicole wtf.. wouldnt you rather live with the memories just in your head and just forget about the pictures? isnt being alive more important?

it's rough man... it's also really sad to think that you actually are scared about someone breaking in... i'm the same way.. i shouldnt have to be scared like that, ya know? i hate being afraid that my life could end at any time.... urgh

I don't understand how some people are ok with the fact that when they die, they die. I feel like I have so much unfinished business that no matter when I die..there will always be something I forgot to do...or someone..OH GOD JK! wait that can stand for josh's initials!! sweet ass!! I guess just overall, the idea of death still freaks me out hardcore. I think it always will.
