Nice speech, Scott. And really, you're right about a lot of things. You're right that no president can just miraculously fix things and you're right that we need to be realistic. The fact remains that America has some problems that stick pretty deep. Just saying you're gonna fix them may gain you popularity but it's not going to fix anything. But you know there's one way to become the president of America: By saying what people want to hear. By doing whatever it takes to get people to vote for you. If you're not afraid to say things the way they are and you don't care about polls and votes you just won't be the President of America, and you know that. You're talking about being realistic, but this is where you got unrealistic yourself. Because you may not be able to change everything easily, but becoming the President is the first step and that's not going to happen if you insist of being realistic. You said it yourself, people don't want to be told the truth.
