So you know that smoking ban that's on the ballot? Well, it has really been bothering me that so many people are calling it an "anti-smoking ban." That's grammatically incorrect. YES! I always think the same thing.

Also, I live in New York State, and the ban is in effect here. I'm not really sure how it has affected things, but I definitely think the whole thing was for the better. I like that I can come back from the bars without my clothes smelling like complete ass.

After being practically forced to breathe in second hand smoke my whole life (both parents are smokers) it's refreshing to me that I can go out to dinner or out for drinks without breathing that when I get out of the house.

And that's my $.02. =P

i have to disagree with your view. In New York, after the ban was enacted, bars did away with "no re-entry" policies, and people would go outside between sets to smoke. It was very helpful for me, a person who gets physically ill now even from the smell of smoke (and yet to think just last year you and i shared some good cigars! I can't even smell it now, I start vomiting... its bad)

but for me, I think the band is a good thing, if bars also take away the no re-entry thing. It's not a good policy anyhow...
