This week. It can die.
This week has been so long and it's still not over. I feel like I've been holding space for others well past my capacity limit. The week started with Adam realizing that a deadline at work was actually a week sooner and I took on even more of the childcare (losing my two mornings a week to read/write), plus Adam's volleyball leagues started again ( Read more... ) -
Elliott Cat
My beloved, whiny, 11 yr old cat Elliott came down with feline diabetes after we arrived in the US. He's been in great health all these years and then BAM. We think it was the stress of moving. Vets said that it can come on quickly, and then also disappear quickly too. We were giving him insulin shots twice a day, and buying expensive food ( Read more... ) -
Change
The current has shifted. Not only is fall in the air - cool air and actual rain last night! - but the energy is shifting. All the apologies are said that can be said regarding the Great Wedding Fiasco. Recovery has occurring. Bennett moves up to pre-k next week. I am getting taken to task by some one for not having health insurance. She thinks either Adam or I should just go out and get a job - any job - that has health insurance and that state systems (Medicaid, Medicare, systems for children under 5) should really be going to battered women fleeing abuse. I'm in Ocean Shores WA with keypike and miss_swamp and all of our families: 4 four year old boys, a 2.5 yr old girl, and Astrid, 18.5 months.
