As horrible as it is that her car was broken into (yeah, I've been there) I have to admit it. I'm laughing. Mostly at the last paragraph, as it starts out all logical peaceful sounding, then goes into horrible wraths of vengance, only to end with a nice Christian tone again.

P.S.-- why did your mom leave a camera & jewlry in the car anyhow? I usually wear mine. Pants, too.

Well, the first time she left the jewelry in there because she just got back from Thailand and she was goign to take the stuff out the next day.

The second time, she had to help my dad pack cause he was going back to Thailand and she completely forgot she left the computer bag (without the computer, thank goodness) with the camera inside.

Oy. But I guess we just learn to never be as naive or senseless.

that totally sucks.

my mom's car was broken into twice. once in washington dc (jimied the lock), the second time was in the parking lot of the car repair place next to burger king, by school. that was also the same day the car place was on fire. so if they had parked it inside the car would have burned and since they parked it outside someone broke into it. le sigh...
