Hi everyone,

For the last few weeks, I've been experiencing early OOS symptoms. So I've tried to cut back my keyboard use to as little as humanly possible - which has meant not being on line much, and actually reading (gasp) paper books!!!

But I'm still alive and check in every now and then. :)

When things get back to normal, I'll do some

T'Boy and I challenged each other to write something new by the end of June. For inspiration, she gave me three words: cringe, conscience, and hidden.

I don't know why, but those words said "Maquis" to me. So here is a Tom Paris in the Maquis story. Blame T'Boy, not me!

OK. I don't think I'm up to Bodie/Doyle dialogue. Scratch that one off the list...

Less than a year ago, I bought a new suit (which I don't wear very often). A few weeks ago (nine, to be precise), I put it on and discovered that it had become uncomfortably tight. Now, I bought that one because it's unlamented predecessor had also become uncomfortably tight. I may not be a mathematical genius, but even I can see the pattern there ( Read more... )

That was a headline on our evening news tonight. Apparently we're having a shortage of avocados. But don't panic. There will be a large shipment of them from Australia in a couple of weeks. In the meantime, we may have to eat fewer avocados ( Read more... )

His New Holiness considers that I, as a homosexual, am intrinsically evil. But then, we do have to put that in the context that "all men [inclusive of the pesky other sex] have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God."
